Press Releases

Washington—Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) today issued the following statement after the White House released the president’s fiscal year 2015 budget request:

“Today’s budget request makes it clear the president supports strong funding levels for key jobs, infrastructure, education and national security programs.

“The budget invests in many of California’s top priorities including drought response, transportation, border infrastructure, conservation and research and development. The president also rightly focuses on helping America’s middle class families, especially through an emphasis on manufacturing, job training and early education programs.

“After years of budget gridlock, I’m hopeful that we’re finally back on track. I look forward to working with my colleagues in Congress to build on the progress made over the last few months and enact a series of responsible, thoughtful appropriations bills.”
