Washington—Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) released the following statement after meeting with Foreign Minister Safeen Muhsin Dizayee of the Kurdistan Regional Government to discuss the U.S.-Kurdish partnership:

            “I was pleased to meet with Foreign Minister Dizayee to discuss ongoing U.S. support for the Kurds and the Kurdistan Regional Government.

            “The Kurds have been an invaluable partner in the fight against ISIS and are a pillar of stability in a volatile region. We must continue our diplomatic, economic and military support to the region, and I intend to do everything possible to ensure that happens. ”
