20th anniversary of Israeli leader’s assassination
Washington—Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) today introduced a resolution honoring the life, legacy and example of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin on the 20th anniversary of his death.

The resolution commemorates the life and accomplishments of Rabin, recognizes the close ties between the United States and Israel and reaffirms the importance of a just and lasting peace between Israel and the Palestinians.
It is cosponsored by Senators Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), Tom Carper (D-Del.), Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), Al Franken (D-Minn.), Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) and Tim Kaine (D-Va.).
