Washington—Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) released the following statement and information to assist residents in areas affected by preventative power shutoffs in California:

            “As weather conditions across California lead to preventative power shutdowns, please make sure to stay safe and up to date with news on how the latest shutdowns may affect you. Utility companies have made various resources available for people in areas experiencing shutoffs and I encourage everyone in need to make use of them."

Community Resource Centers

            PG&E has opened 28 Community Resource Centers to provide assistance to residents. These centers have restrooms, bottled water, electronic-device charging and air-conditioned seating for up to 100 people per facility. A full list of these centers is available below and here.
