Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein issued the following statement today after President Obama nominated Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers
Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers has served as the Alameda County Superior Court Judge since June 2008. Prior to that she served as Pro-Tem Superior Court Judge, foreperson of the Alameda County Grand Jury, and was heavily involved in leadership activities for the Piedmont Public Schools from 2003-2008. She also has experience as Partner, Special Counsel, and Associate at Cooley Godward LLP (1991-2003). Gonzalez Rogers is a graduate of Princeton University (cum laude) and the University of Texas School of Law.
