Washington—Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) released the following statement today after Iran released two U.S. hikers from captivity:

“I’m delighted that Josh and Shane have left Iran and are returning home to their families and their interrupted lives. This two-year ordeal should never have happened in the first place, but I am pleased that it has finally come to an end and thankful to Iran for this release.”
